A: Memorial Village Emergency Room provides quality medical care without the long wait you often find at hospital-based emergency rooms in heavily populated cities such as Houston. The overcrowding and long waits at many hospital Emergency Rooms is partially due to so many people using them for non-emergency care. As a result of that and the fast-growing population, plus other factors, hospital emergency rooms face a shortage of on-call specialists and inpatient beds. You can experience long wait times and prolonged hospital stays when treated at such hospital emergency rooms.

B: Memorial Village Emergency Room is not a division of a hospital. We are a 24 hour freestanding emergency room in Houston staffed with Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and Nurses.  We are equipped to provide prompt medical care for any emergency and we do not keep our patients waiting.

A: Yes. If we feel that your emergency care would require further testing, or medication that we can observe you for 24 hours and determine your need for admission or discharge.

A: Only extensively trained and Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians treat patients at Memorial Village Emergency Room. We guarantee it. We recruit our Physicians and Nurses for their critical care experience, and you can feel confident placing your trust in these qualified professionals.

A: Yes, Memorial Village Emergency Room provides 24 hour Pediatric Emergency Care for children of all ages, from young infants, to older teenagers; we are committed to providing the best pediatric emergency care.  We offer pediatric treatment for a variety of conditions in a comforting Private Pediatric Suite.

A:  Yes, at Memorial Village Emergency Room, we offer several imaging services to best serve our patients. All our imaging services are offered in-house in our comprehensive, state-of-the-art, digital imaging center to ensure faster results; your health is our priority, so we make sure that we’re able to provide you with a quick, accurate diagnosis so we can offer prompt treatment for your condition.

A: We accept all private and commercial insurance plans and HSA’s. We currently do not accept Medicare or Medicaid due to state and federal regulations.

A: No, Memorial Village Emergency Room does not require appointments for Emergency medical care. You can walk in to the center for treatment at any time, day or night, even on holidays.
