Pediatric Services

To alleviate the fears and anxieties that are often associated with visiting an emergency room, we have created a separate kid-friendly pediatric treatment room. When emergencies happen, you can feel confident knowing that, in your community, Memorial Village ER offers state-of-the-art pediatric care.

If your child is ever in need of emergency care in Houston, bring them to Memorial Village ER. Your child’s health is important to us.

  • Upon arrival to the ER, you will be greeted by an experienced nurse who will ask your child questions and take your child’s pulse, temperature, blood pressure and respiratory rate.

  • You will meet with a Board Certified ER physician in a dedicated Pediatric treatment Room who will talk to you about your child’s illness or injury and order tests. These tests usually include blood, urine, Digital x-ray or a CT scan.

  • The Doctor will review your child’s results and meet with you to discuss them. You will have ample time to spend directly with a physician to ask questions about your care and test results.

  • When it is time to leave, you will receive after-care instructions. A summary of your visit, including labs, radiology reports and the doctor’s impression will be faxed to your Pediatrician’s office.
