At Memorial Village ER, we offer a wide range of on-site emergency lab services for patients in need of immediate medical diagnosis and treatment.
All of our lab services are performed in-house, and we are a COLA-certified laboratory. Results from lab tests are reviewed by a physician, which ensures every patient is given accurate treatment.
You do not have to wait by the phone or schedule a call to review your results. Patients get their results during the same visit.
Only a few types of tests will need a longer wait time, but the majority of tests done in our lab are ready within one hour.

Lab Testing Process
Most lab services begin and end within the same visit. These are the most common steps taken during a lab test:
- Collecting a specimen – We will ask that you provide us with a specimen based upon your condition and needed test. Some cases may require different types of samples in order to compare the results with each other for accuracy.
- Processing sample – Our specialized technicians will process all of the samples you give us in our in-house state-of-the-art laboratory.
- Analyzing data – After the sample has been processed in our lab, our physicians will analyze the results. If the results are conclusive, they will determine a diagnosis and create a treatment plan before you leave our ER.
