Lab Testing Process
Most lab services begin and end within the same visit. These are the most common steps taken during a lab test:
- Collecting a specimen – We will ask that you provide us with a a specimen based upon your condition and needed test. Some cases may require different types of samples in order to compare the results with each other for accuracy.
- Processing sample – Our specialized technicians will process all of the samples you give us in our in-house state-of-the-art laboratory.
- Analyzing data – After the sample has been processed in our lab, our physicians will analyze the results. If the results are conclusive, they will determine a diagnosis and create a treatment plan before you leave our ER.
